Mintware is committed to assisting customers to prepare for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The GDPR is a series of rules governing organizations that handle EU citizens’ private data, regardless of where the companies themselves are located.
Let us explain our ways and plans to achieve GDPR compliance, both for our company and our clients. GDPR will go into effect on November 25, 2017.
Our company has made Mintware software products and services in line with GDPR so our customers can have the necessary means to stay GDPR compliant.
Steps to achieve are described below:
We have encrypted our database to be particularly compliant to GDPR
We take consent from our customers personally and about how we encrypt
We enable our customers to allow GDPR approval for their application sites
We save approval for each participant and engage in our Privacy Shield and implement our Data Processing Addendum
We also continue to monitor the guidance around GDPR compliance from privacy-related regulatory bodies, and will adjust our plans accordingly should the situation change.
If you're a Mintware customer, you're likely a company proprietor using the mintware products to sell your client's goods and facilities. With regard to the customer data you provide to Mintware Ventures, Mintware Ventures will fulfill its GDPR obligations; but with regard to your customers, you are probably a data controller and, if any of your customers are a citizen or a resident of a country in the European Union, you must ensure that you fulfill your GDPR obligations as a data controller; Mintware offers software products ; it does not provide legal or legal advice, nor does it offer a GDPR enforcement bundle "done-for-you." In order to conform with GDPR, please advise your legal counsel.EU-U.S. Privacy Shield
